Humane Society

The Jacksonville Humane Society project will be a 45,000-square-foot shelter for abandoned and available animals that will function on a broader level as a community center. This sustainable, state-of-the-art, no-kill facility is currently in the design development phase. Conceptually, the architecture of this new project embraces the word "shelter" and expresses it through the folded forms. This new shelter is welcoming and bright, not just for the animals protected there, but also for the lucky individuals hoping to provide new homes for these deserving dogs and cats.
